What can you fit in a 5x10 storage unit?

A 5x10 storage unit has floor space of 5 feet wide and 10 feet deep and ours are 8 feet height.  To picture the size of a 5x10 storage unit, imagine yourself in a walk-in closet, or a large outdoor shed.  The 5x10 storage unit is large enough that you can stand in the unit and do some organizing of your items.  The height of a 5x10 storage unit is 8 feet at Bow City Storage.

Can a mattress fit in a 5x10 storage unit?

If you have a queen mattress – the smallest size we recommend getting is the 5x10 storage unit.  It will leave enough room for some additional furniture and boxes.  

Can a kayak fit in a 5x10 storage unit?

Given the length of a kayak, it will need a larger unit size, such as a 5x12 storage unit size 

Can a bike fit in a 5x10 storage unit?

Absolutely, up to 3 mountain bikes, when placed in stands, will fit in a 5x10 storage unit.  To maximize the space, we recommend using a bike stand, so you make use of the unit’s height as much as possible.  Bow City Storage sells bike stands for this specific purpose.  If you have a motorbike you want to put in to storage – a 5x10 will fit a motorbike.  Just make you check with your storage provider as to the rules for storing motor bikes.

Can I fit seasonal items in a 5x10storage unit?

This unit size is perfect for seasonal décor and seasonal gear such as skis, snowboards, sleds, and all the boots and bindings that go with it.  You will have enough room to also store the box and rack you might have had on your car during the winter season.

What is the price of a 5x10 storage unit?
