COVID-19 - Precautions We Are Taking

We are committed to providing a convenient, clean and secure place to store your valuables.  The health and safety of our staff, customers, and community are most important. 

Bow City Storage is actively monitoring COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and we have put safety measures in place. We will continue to modify these measures as needed.

During these unprecedented times, we will make every effort to remain open as we realize we are an important service for many local businesses and customers.  We are following all government guidelines in terms of social distancing and cleaning and disinfecting procedures.

We will continue to keep you informed of any changes and will update this page as required.

A.  OFFICE HOURS

Office hours are as posted online.  In order to keep our staff and customers safe, we have introduced a 4 person max in our office area.  If you see there are customers in the store, please wait in your car outside or in the loading bay until it is your turn.

B.  ACCESS HOURS

Access hours will not change, you can continue to access your storage unit 24/7.

C.  TIPS TO BOOK A STORAGE UNIT ONLINE

If you are unsure as to the size of storage unit you need, you can visit our storage unit size guide or give us a call at 403 BOW CITY and we will be happy to assist you.

D.  IF YOU ARE FEELING ILL

We respectfully request that you do not enter our storage facility if you are ill or displaying symptoms of COVID-19.  If staff at Bow City Storage see that a customer is visibly ill or displaying symptoms, they will be asked to leave the property immediately.

E.   SAFETY PROTOCOL

Bow City Storage will have hand sanitizer available to our customers and encourage everyone to use it upon entering our storage facility and elevators.  Employees and customers are required to maintain a minimum distance of 2 meters from each other.

 F.   CLEANING PROTOCOLS

Self storage facilities generally have low foot traffic so this allows us to disinfect frequently touched areas after each customer.  This includes, but is not limited to, counters, door handles, elevators and point-of-sale terminals.  We encourage all of our customers to book and pay for your unit online to minimize touch points all together.

 G.  COMING TO OUR OFFICE

Customers are encouraged to book a unit online but we absolutely understand if you want to come and visit our facility to experience our state of the art safety and convenience features.  We ask that you call ahead and make an appointment at 403 BOW CITY so we can ensure we are available.

 H.  PAYMENTS

We strongly encourage everyone to sign up for automatic billing to their credit card or automatic bank withdrawal.   We can take debit card payments in store.  At this time, we are unable to take cash as a safety precaution.

I.     MOVE-OUTS

If you are moving out please call or email us and advise us over the phone, you do not need to come into the office.  Please ensure your unit is clean and broom swept.
